Personal Support Worker (PSW)
We are seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers to provide direct care and support to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Assist with medication administration and monitoring
- Support residents with daily living activities
- Monitor and record health observations
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
Requirements:
- Valid PSW certificate or equivalent healthcare training
- Experience in mental health or special care setting (asset)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and genuine care for others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
On-Site Caregiver
Join our team of dedicated caregivers providing 24/7 support to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide round-the-clock care and supervision
- Monitor residents' health and well-being
- Assist with medical monitoring (blood sugar, blood pressure)
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed
- Administer medications according to care plans
- Document care provided and report changes
Requirements:
- Healthcare aide certification or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in caregiving role
- Valid driver's license (asset)
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm in emergencies
- Excellent organizational skills
Relief Staff / Casual Worker
Flexible opportunity to support our team on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:
- Cover shifts for regular staff during vacations/sick leave
- Provide direct care and support to residents
- Follow established care plans and procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate effectively with team members
